Guys…. Radhika landed back… yes… On 5th April….. she had called me on 4th telling me about her arrival… I offered to pick her up but she said that it will be late in night so she will hire a taxi nd go and will call me on 6th….
But do u expect me to sit back at home…. I was at airport arrival to give her a pleasant surprise… Her plane had landed nd she cud be out in next half an hour…
There she is…. Pulling her trolley bag besides her and walking straight towards exit… She din’t see me so I thought to startle her by going around her….
“Oye Kidaan…!! Haan vai hows U???”
Radhs turned around nd her face was more of a shock expression than a surprise which I expected…. “You… You r here? Oh GoD… I had tld you na not to come…. My aunt…!!!”
Before she could complete her sentence, a lady in her fifties, wearing a sari and with a air bag was standing next to both of us…. Looking towards Radhs in a questionable look she asked “Aarrranu moley…? (who’s he?)
Radhs… totally blank faced kept on staring on me… I could see that she was still recovering from shock… I had to do something to help her but what… nd the bulb glowed… “Hey!! So u r cumin from vacation… gr8… how was it?” (like I din’t know that she was in kerala)…
She got my plan (thank god that gals use brain sometimes)
“Yeah jst landed” saying this she turned towards that lady saying “Ammai, ivan Prasanth, ende office de client aa… malayalee aa… (Aunt he is Prashant… Our Office client, he is a mallu)….
Aunty looked at me with a doubtfull face…. I smiled back and said “Namaskaram, njan ende oru friendiney drop chiyaan vanadha… appol aa radhikaey kandathu… (I came to drop my friend and was going back wen I saw u ppl)….
“Hello…” she was least interested to meet… then she looked at Radhs and asked “can we go now?”
“How r u going? If u want I can drop u….?” I offered my services to aunty…
Radhs was givin me expressions frm eyes to avoid the drop service… but I had already asked nd I had to stand on it…. :P
“No, Thanks” said aunty… “We will take a Taxi. It will be trouble for u”
I said “Ok… as u say.. but I have no problem nd it is already 10… it will be costly as now it will be double charge… I live in Abu Hamour and ur place will be on the way… No issues…”
“Oh! You know where we live?”
I din’t expect that coming from aunty… and I could see in radhs eyes that she will kill me….
“No, I mean abu hamour is one corner, nd any place will be on d way…” I dnt know if I escaped that kill by aunty…”
but now radhs intruded…
“Ammai, lets go… already I am tired… chalo pls…”
Now Ammai had no choice… she nodded and I escorted them to my car….
In car, as we drove, there was total silence… Now, I realized if I took them straight to their place without asking the address we will be caught… So I tld radhs to guide me to road…
To start a conversation, I asked aunty “aunty, u work here…?”
“Yes, I m a senior nurse at Hamad. What do you do other than dropping and picking people from Airport…?”
She was ready to Kill me… Dnt know why? But I had to escape…
“Hahaha… I am a team Leader in Nokia.”
“nd how do you know Radhs…”
“Ammai, I tld u na, they are our clients… We do promotions with them on Doha Souq…” radhs came for the saving….
Then we started business talks to avoid ammai… Hows the sale on Doha souq, any new promos… and all this…. Nd we reached their home…. I dropped them and was a quick good bye…
Today morning Radhs called me and we were both laughing at the incident that happened…
“Now c’mon yaar how cud I know that ur ammai will be there at airport” I asked her…
“I wanted to tell u wen I called u on 4th… but ammai was there also… waise bhi she is very suspicious that whom I call in Qatar and if she knows that we used to meet, she gonna make a mess of it in home… she loves me a lot na…”
“yeah.. yeah… the love was killing me…”
“So she is now back to office…??”
“yes… but now she will be more vigil on me… kyunki she has never seen me talking to any guy like this… she tld me yesterday also that I was extra friendly with you…. Wats goin on…”
“What did u say…? Waise is there sumthing goin on?” I asked cunningly…
“yeah yeah… u dream it… chalo bye… lots of work pending due to my leave… Will see ya soon…”
“Bye.. take care… say hello to ammai” I said…
“Yeah I will (laughing)” saying this she disconnected….
SO my friend RADHS is back…. Nd rocking…. Will update you thing time to time…
